This bar did not work on my RV10! I called AC Spruce and the best they could do was have me mail it back at my cost and they would refund my $300. They had no dimensional drawings or part number info they’d said someone would call me back but no one did! The bar has been “redesigned” since 2009? I have a friend who bought one the at it works on his RV10 and on mine! The “new” design will not “ close” on the wheel. “ Bogert” had me submit dimensional drawings of my construction!

I bought this tow bar for my 1970 Piper Arrow. It is a very high quality tow bar that extends to give you more leverage. I should point out that the tow bar shown in the picture is not the one needed for the PA-28R-200. The actual tow bar I received has a metal dowel rod attached to one of the tow bars arms that slides thru a hollow axle on the front wheel. A very clever design!

This tow bar is absolutely fantastic! Money well spent. I had a spring mounted tow bar that came with my 182 when I bought it. The trouble with that one was it would pop open while I was pushing it.....like every time I used it. This tow bar locks into place and stays put. It is very solid. Very Pleased.

Not cheap by any means (what in aviation is!), but quality made. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to put stops on the tube so that the hole at least self locates along the axis. As designed now, you have to align the holes in 2 directions (along axis and rotational). That is a pain. I leave it extended in the hangar, but break it down to stow in plane.

We purchased one (4-210) for our 1986 P210R and it was the best one out there. Cessna wanted $1210.00 for the original one, and this one from Bogert is way better. The rest I have seen at other retailers and wholesalers are pure junk.

This is a very nice towbar and works well with my Cirrus SR-22. It is easier to open than my old towbar, but still grips the lugs on the nosewheel securely. It is also longer than my old towbar and is easier on my back. It fits nicely in the luggage compartment. The cushions on the handle are a nice touch. The quality of the build is excellent. The pin that holds the handle in place is on a chain and therefore hard to lose. I made the pin easier to install when collapsing the towbar by putting a zip strip at the end of the handle. When I push the handle in, the zip strip is just wide enough that the hole for the pin is perfected lined up.

The tow bar fits over the nose wheel pants easily of the RV8A. The long handle provides the extra leverage you need when moving the airplane backwards. Its made strong and sturdy: it should last the life of the airplane. Great tow bar!

I purchased the RV-10 nose wheel Bogi-bar for my North American Navion. Though there is no specifically named Navion Bogi-bar I bought this on the reccomendation of someone on the Navion Yahoo group and it works excellently for steering the Navion. The tension and fit is right and has never slipped off yet or been hard to attach. It fits right over the axle bolt in the cups of the nose wheel horseshoe/collar.

Works great! Clips right on. Lever spreads it open smoothly and has not disengaged yet. Small enough to keep in the plane, long enough to push as well as pull a Bonanza.

I bought this tow bar for putting my C182 back in the hangar after flights. It is significantly better than the one that came with the plane in that is has a longer reach and connects more firmly to the nose gear. I would rate it a 5 if it was cheaper!

This is a good, solid tow bar and will stand up to heavy use. However, it was a little too heavy duty for me. It takes some arm strength to open the fork, and my 110 pound wife couldnt handle it. We sent it back in exchange for a Cessna Deluxe tow bar. That one isnt as sturdy but its easier to use.

Had one for about 8 years before it failed due to metal fatigue. For my Vans RV-8A I now have the RV-A series aircraft towbar M-340-026. These are much cheaper and far superior for the RV series of aircraft. I bought a second on and cut the handle down a bit so I could stow it is the forward baggage compartment against the fire wall as part of my fly away kit. Takes up almost no room.
