Overview

Securing your airplane shouldn't require a refresher course in knots. The Flight Gear Pull Down Tie-Down Set uses an automatic rope-ratcheting system that makes tying down as simple as hook, pull and lock.

Attach the PVC-coated steel hooks to the aircraft and the ground anchor, then pull down on the rope. The ratchet takes up the slack and holds the tension to keep the aircraft secure through gusty winds. When it's time to fly, press the rope release button on the ratchet.

Bright orange, reflective rope is easy to spot day or night, and UV-resistant polyester construction is made for outdoor use. The set includes two 10 ft ropes for the wings and one 6 ft rope for the tail, so it suits both high- and low-wing aircraft. All three tie-downs pack into the included storage bag for tidy storage in the baggage compartment.
