Well made Ram grip, as the previous review stated, it comes with a rubber tether thing with no instructions. I won’t be needing it for my closed cockpit application.

Great product, but make sure the rubber “bumpers” of the X-Grip don’t press on the “ON/OFF” switch and “VOLUME” switch at the same time, because this may cause your phone to automatically dial 911,, as mine did on a recent flight.
In addition to the X-grip, the package contains a small tube of fast-setting glue and a rubber tether, but no instructions. Rams instructions show the glue applied to the four rubber grips and says Tether recommended for rugged environments and open cockpit applications. It slips over the ball from the back, and the ears slip over the four corners of the device.
