I ordered two cans of the yellow and two of the green to see how they each look, set up, etc. I personally ended up liking the yellow better I think it dries a little quicker (could just be differences in conditions, hard to say), the texture seems a little grittier but also tougher, and I think the color spreads more evenly than the green. E.g., with a light coat, the color is more even, whereas the green will tend to have lighter and darker spots unless the coat is very, very evenly applied. Overally, very pleased with it - easy to use, plenty of aerosol pressure, and it makes my aluminum look like a proper spar!

Paint was very easy to use, and delivery was prompt. Shipping costs were high ($11 on a $8 can of paint(!) ) but Im guessing that was because it is hazardous material.

Used it the other day and it sprayed/covered my small project very well. Unlike some other spray cans that do not lay down a uniform coating.

Great stuff. I replaced all the skin on my aluminum skinned RV and used this spray primer on all the panels several years ago. All look like new without any corrosion.

Be sure to notice that this is Zinc PHOSPHATE, not Zinc Chromate. You can read about the differences - good and bad. Sprayed on the aluminum evenly. Dry to the touch in a few hours. Was able to paint the next day.

Very easy to use. Good for small projects. Lays down evenly and smoothly. Takes about 3-4 days to totally dry. When dry it provides and excellent base for top coat with great adhesion. Recommend for use on aluminum and steel.

After about three days this paint seems extremely durable and has really good abrasion resistance.

I gave this primer 4 stars only because I dont have any experience with it actually on my airplane, yet. I did test it on a some bare aluminum and it appears to be exactly what I wanted.

Hard to review since I just used the primer. It will have to withstand the test of time. But shipping and handling was great.

Overall I am pleased. I purchased the green. The only comment that I have is that the final finish appears to have very small flecks of yellow particles. I sprayed my parts outside and my first thought was that it was pollen. But I prayed a few parts in my workshop and the yellow flakes are still there. I believe that the yellow particles (they are small) are in the paint. Not objectionable--I am using this as anti-corrosion primer for parts inside the wings. The paint goes on well--I did not observe any tendency for the paint to run.

About the best Spray Bomb primer out there. Just do super light coats. I doubt a thick coat would ever dry! We prefer epoxy primer, but while away from the hangar this stuff works great.(4 out of 5 stars for the drying time)

If you want glossy olive drab primer, this stuff is for you! I did not. I wanted standard flat zinc primer.

Works okay. The green spits little yellow chunks. The spray nozzles are horrible pattern, works much better with a nozzle from another make like SEM. The SEM nozzle greatly improved pattern and finish. Green seems to dry much faster than yellow, but yellow give a superior finish

Seems fine so far but extremely narrow spray pattern.

Product works as advertised. The spray pattern is pathetic. It’s about 1.5” pattern. The coverage is streaky and doesn’t get even coverage. They need to put a better tip on the can.

Extremely thin. You will need three times of what you think.

This is junk. Second can of this stuff and neither will cure in a reasonable amount of time. I applied too heavy the first time and after 48 hours it was still tacky. Cleaned it all off and reapplied a very light coat, so light that its almost invisible and its still tacky after 24 hours. Who has time for this sort of nonsense. Customer has been waiting for 3 days while we watch paint dry. Ill look at a different brand or use epoxy primer next.

Both black and white paint came out in thick spaghetti stream like cottage cheese. Black paint leaked out all around the spray valve. Completely messed up paint job. Absolutely useless paint from Temple.

I have done a significant amount of spray painting. The spray pattern was very poor. I picked two cans off the shelf in the store. One can was a little better than the other but still very poor spray pattern. My guess is that this paint had been on the shelf way too long and was way too old.
