Overview
| This is an engineered triple thickness ZircoFlex® format that offers yet more thermal performance coupled with significant rigidity when compared to the original ZircoFlex I® material. It is produced as an aluiminium backed matrix. |
Features
• Flexible - it is easily bent and manipulated to suit different geometries, and can be folded through 180° without damaging the thermal barrier.• Lightweight - weighing only 1.5kg/m2.
• Thin (0.85mm overall) needing only minimal space for installation.
• Aluminium backed, so the material is robust and easy to handle.
• Easily cut and installed by hand or machine.
• Easily fixed in placeusing mechanical fasteners or high temperature adhesives (supplied separately by Zircotec).
Reviews
I have only measure with a ambient temperature of 68F. The difference was 124f-132f oil tank with the protected cover showing a 98F temp. Resulting in a 26-34F reduction. This is with a very small air gap from the tank to the protected cover of about a 1/4. Not sure how it will perform when the ambient temperature reaches 90F.
