Clip is poorly designed. One end has a sharp bend which prevents the clip from smoothly interfacing with a tail wheel chain or steering arm. The clip needs both ends well rounded to be versatile in a tail wheel steering system.

These clips are not strong enough. They bend open too easily and dont go back together. I have almost lost two of them when they came partially undone from the chain on the tail wheel assembly. They need to be more heavy duty with better spring tension.

These clips are not strong enough. They fail after a dozen landings. Make them from a heavier gauge of wire. I am consistently landing on a strip with stiff crosswinds. The last thing I need is for these clips to break during a challenging landing!

These clips dont work. Nowhere near strong enough. First outing , they bent and came loose from the tail wheel steering arm. Not a fun ride when this happens. I put the old ones back on and the wire was much thicker and appears to be actually spring wire, whereas the Aircraft Spruce ones appear to be some type of mild steel wire.
