Overview

  • Piper STC REPLACEMENT

  • 3-pt diagonal restraint assembly replacement or upgrade for Piper aircraft with existing factory installed outboard attachment points. This is not compatible with models that have a 4 bolt inertial reel mounted under the window. AmSafe® TSO-C114 OEM quality restraint assembly. Includes 8130-3 airworthiness certificate & certificate of conformance. Non-US Registered Aircraft: Due to the need for export paperwork, orders for non-US registered aircraft will be considered Special Order. Sold as per seat / 1 restraint assembly.

  • Approved Models: PA-23, PA-24, PA-28-151, PA-28-161, PA-28-181, PA28RT series, PA28RT-xxxT series, PA-30, PA-31 series, PA-31T series, PA-32 series, PA-32R series, PA-32RT series, PA-32RT-xxxT series, PA-34 series, PA-39, PA-44 series. PA-44-xxxT series, PA-46-310P, PA-46-350P.
  • Mounting Location: This restraint is mounted in the upper structure, under the headliner & cover, behind the pilot or copilot.
  • This is NOT a replacement for inertial reels that are mounted under the window and secured with a 4-bolt reel. AmSafe does not have a reel that matches that footprint. A work around is available with a willing, appropriately rated mechanic who can create an overlay for mounting this reel.
  • Conformance: This restraint is approved for the aircraft models listed because you are replacing a TSO item with a TSO item.

Specifications

  • The aircraft has existing, factory installed attachment points, or attachment points that have been added with an approved installation kit.
  • This installation will require a log book entry signed by an appropriately rated mechanic.
  • EXCLUSION: a reel mounted below the window and secured by 4 bolts. Please see “Details” for more info.
