These are the same tires that came with my Sonex kit. The ones Im replacing still have a small amount of thread after 7 years and 200 hours. They worked well for me so when it came to replacing the tires the choice was clear.

Have been using these tires for thirty-seven years on my Long-EZ. They last about 100 flight hours. Cost $5.00 each with tube back in the 80s!

This manufacturer seems to be the only one that makes this size tire. It’s for my RV-7A nose wheel I have had 3 flats in 8 years, all at away airports. I don’t know if it’s just bad luck, poor tube, or what. My solution is now to always carry a fully assembled, pressurized spare wheel assembly. That’s what this one is for.
