Overall, a decent product as I needed a slightly mooned hubcap for the Cleveland wheels on the longer axles of my Luscombe’s Silflex gear (vs a flat plate cap on same wheel on Cessna 180). As others have reported, the mounting holes all have to be filed inward to make the caps fit. They are billed as being 7.25” dia. but are actually only 7.125” dia. so a loose fit, therefore totally dependent on accuracy of hole filing for proper alignment. They polished up to a high lustre but still show grooves in the finish from spin-forming manufacturing process.

Theese will need to be drilled out to fit as most have indicated. Which is to bad, I think they would have looked good once painted to match the aircraft. The Grove Hub Cap 011-013 fit perfectly so it was painted and installed for my application on a C170

These were great - I also had to enlarge a couple of the holes, but it took a couple of minutes total... and I did not think its reasonable to pay hundreds of dollars for a tiny piece of sheet metal (these are priced so much better than any alternative!)

If I were painting them they would have worked great but I tried to polish them and for some reason the aluminum won’t take a shine.

Holes did not line up perfectly but no big deal. Was easily fixed. Covers came with screws so that’s a plus.

Diameter is great fit but like everyone else I had to use dremel bit to elongate the mounting holes on 2 of the 3 screw holes. Not sure why they can’t get this right.

I like the look of the covers as well as the price, but the previous reviewers hit the nail on the head. They do not fit without increasing the hole size by 50%. The aluminium is thin and not the end of the world to do, but not something you expect from a new product. with that said, would I purchase them again, yes

I had to slightly modify the holes to work on my 6 Cleveland wheels.

Had to elongate the holes about 50% with a drill, but otherwise works fine for my Arrow.

These worked after I enlarged the mounting holes, as they did not fit as delivered. Its sad the manufacturer cant/wont adjust the hole locations as there are many reviews mentioning this issue.

As reviewed by others, the holes need to be drilled out in order to complete the installation. Also, the screws are too long and needed to be shortened. Also, I didnt notice that the screws were included (my oversight, I suppose) so maybe make this more prevalent in the item listing. The covers do look good once installed.

These will look great once they fit! The screw holes didn’t allow the screws to be put in, and appear to have been drilled before the plate was press formed. The forming process appears to have changed the screw hole alignment just enough that these won’t go on the wheel without being re-drilled. Small thing admittedly, but still shouldn’t be.
