I spent 25 years maintaining light aircraft. While I did have to get adept at grappling with that bottom inboard mounting nut, only now that Im retired did I purchase this wrench - 25 years too late! It is a really helpful tool that should be in every tool cabinet.

If you are changing a pump GET ONE OF THESE, MANDATORY!!! It is a PITA getting the lower left nut on by hand and nearly impossible to tighten it with out this wrench.....

First time changing the vacuum pump and this wrench made it so much faster. Well worth it.

If you dont have one of these, you will spend hours and aggravation trying to change a vacuum pump. Perfect tool.

Absolutely necessary tool. Worked great. Has a bit of flex to it so could be a problem if that problem but is stuck.

Needs to be made sturdier with les flex in the shaft.

On Lycoming 360 (180 HP) does work but you cannot tight the lower left 7/16 nut because the tools angle it is too long and touching the engine case that eventually start leaking oil.

Doesn’t work on an O-470-11.

Tool is too long for a Cessna 182.

Used once and wrench bent. Might be bad run of metal, but it was very weak. Aircraft spruce replaced no questions asked.

It make work on some planes, but not my B model Bonanza 35. It did fit the nut (7/16) but the Handle was too long, distance between opening for nut and first 90 bend was too great and sides of wrench too wide to turn the nut once you were on it. After hacksawing and grinding and using a crescent wrench to turn the wrench, I removed the stubborn top left nut. For me, waste of time and money.

Looks to be good quality but too long for my use. Will not fit between the firewall and the vac pump on an American Champion Aircraft Super Decathlon. 8KCAB.
