Overview

The Allmax rivet is a shear ring type fastener that provides consistent blind side bulbing.

The Allmax four-piece fastener, consisting of a pin, sleeve, lock collar and washer, provides dependable installations. The Allmax performs well in all metallic structures including thin sheet applications.

The shear ring design of the pin creates a bulbing of the sleeve that bears against the blind side of the joint and adjusts for the thickness of the material being joined. The collar provides an inspectable, mechanical lock ensuring positive installation. The washer allows the fastener to be installed with simplified tooling across multiple diameter and head style parts.

The Allmax rivet is available in 4, 5 and 6 nominal diameters, as well as 4, 5, and 6 oversize (1/64”) diameters. This fastener is available in 4 sleeve/pin material combinations: Aluminum/Steel, Aluminum/Cres, Monel/Cres and Cres/Cres. This fastener is supplied with multiple sleeve finish options. The Allmax is available in multiple head styles: Universal, 100 degree Flush, 100 degree Reduced Flush and Unisink.
