Our MyPilotPro Aviator Aircraft GoPro Mount is one of our most requested mounts. It attaches to an existing inspection plate. We precisely manufacture each high-strength, glass-filled nylon puck and couple it with stainless steel hardware. We partnered with Ram Mount® for the GoPro camera swivel arm, allowing users to point their camera in any direction. A neoprene pad prevents vibration from reaching the camera and avoids marring your inspection plate.

Easily Secured Aircraft GoPro Mount
Attaching the MyPilotPro Aviator Aircraft GoPro Mount is simple. While not required, we recommend involving an A&P mechanic. You will also need a simple logbook entry.

First, disassemble the mount to isolate the nylon puck. Unscrew an existing inspection plate screw and replace it with one 1/2″ longer (not included), inserting the screw through the puck’s center hole. Ensure the neoprene washer sits between the mount base and the inspection plate as you secure it. Finally, reassemble the entire mount onto the puck.

The mount also includes a safety hairpin to prevent the mount from coming off the mounting puck. After you have reassembled the mount to the puck and firmly tightened the wing nut, insert the stainless steel hairpin into the hole at the end of the threaded bolt. The hairpin ensures that the wing nut securing the entire mount assembly to the inspection plate puck cannot come loose.
